Chicken Bites

Dipping Sauces

Method

Prepare Chicken Bites

  1. 1

    Cut Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches each.

  2. 2

    Prepare Breading Mixture

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Prepare Wet Mixture

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined.

  4. 4

    Coat Chicken

Dip each piece of chicken into the wet mixture, ensuring it is fully coated, then transfer to the dry breading mixture. Toss until the chicken is coated evenly. Set aside.

Fry Chicken Bites

  1. 5

    Heat Oil

In a large, deep skillet or pot, heat 2 cups of oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 6

    Fry Chicken

Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 7

    Drain Chicken

Using a slotted spoon, remove the chicken bites from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Prepare Dipping Sauces

  1. 8

    Serve Sauces

In small bowls, serve honey mustard, ranch, barbeque sauce, and gravy as dipping options for the chicken bites.
