Preparing the Cheeseburger Steak

Season the Ground Beef
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Ron's seasoning salt and seasoned pepper. Mix well until evenly seasoned.

Form the Patty
Shape the seasoned ground beef into a patty that is about 1 inch thick.

Cook the Patty
In a skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patty and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.

Flip and Add Cheese
Flip the patty and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the desired doneness is reached and the cheese is melted.

Cook the French Fries
Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, either by baking or frying until golden brown.

Toast the Texas Toast
In a toaster or skillet, toast the Texas toast slices until golden and crispy.

Choose one of the sides: serve Ron's homemade coleslaw, a scoop of cottage cheese, or a small salad with mixed greens.
