Tortilla Chips

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Meats

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, cook the chicken breast until no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes per side, then remove and let it cool before shredding.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Toppings

Dice the tomato and slice the black olives, jalapeños, and banana peppers. Set aside.

Assembling the Nachos

  1. 3

    Layer the Chips

On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread out the tortilla chips evenly.

  2. 4

    Add the Meats

Sprinkle the cooked Italian sausage and shredded chicken breast evenly over the chips.

  3. 5

    Add the Toppings

Layer the diced tomato, black olives, jalapeños, and banana peppers over the meats.

  4. 6

    Add Cheese and Sauce

Sprinkle the pepper jack cheese generously over all the toppings. Drizzle Alfredo sauce over the entire dish.

Baking

  1. 7

    Bake the Nachos

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the nachos for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  2. 8

    Serve

Remove from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious Italian nachos!
