Method

Pasta Preparation

1

Cook the Manicotti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the manicotti pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Filling Preparation

2

Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Sauce Preparation

3

Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the marinara sauce and heavy cream, stirring until well combined. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

Assembly

4

Stuff the Manicotti

Using a spoon or piping bag, carefully fill each manicotti shell with the chicken and spinach filling.

5

Bake the Manicotti

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of the marinara cream sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the stuffed manicotti in the dish and cover with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.

6

Final Touch

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

7

Garnish and Serve

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.
