For the Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape them into small patties, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Chill the Patties

Place the patties on a plate or tray and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to help them firm up.

Cook the Patties

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly grease the surface if necessary.

  2. 5

    Cook the Patties

Place the chilled patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) for medium doneness.

  3. 6

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Assemble the Mini Burgers

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

Slice the mini burger buns in half and lightly toast them if desired.

  2. 8

    Add the Patties

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a cheese-topped patty.

  3. 9

    Add Toppings

Top each burger with a slice of tomato, a pickle, and condiments like ketchup and mustard to taste.

  4. 10

    Complete the Assembly

Close the burgers with the top half of the buns and secure with a toothpick if needed.
