Prepare the Seafood
Rinse the tilapia, catfish, whiting fillets, and shrimp under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels and set aside.

Bread the Fish and Shrimp
Dip each piece of seafood into the egg wash, then coat thoroughly in the flour mixture. Shake off any excess and set aside on a plate.

Heat the Oil
In a large, deep skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Seafood
Carefully place the breaded seafood into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Drain and Keep Warm
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried seafood from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Keep warm in a preheated oven if necessary.
