Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Ensure all seafood is cleaned and ready for cooking. Rinse the snow crab cluster, shrimp, crawfish, and green mussels under cold water to remove any debris.

  2. 2

    Mise en Place

Gather all ingredients and seasonings before starting the cooking process to ensure a smooth workflow.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Boil the Seafood

In a large pot, fill with enough water to cover the seafood. Add 2 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning and bring to a boil over high heat.

  2. 4

    Add Snow Crab

Once the water is boiling, carefully add the snow crab cluster. Cook for about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 5

    Add Shrimp and Crawfish

After the snow crab has cooked, add the peeled shrimp and cooked crawfish to the pot. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the shrimp turns pink.

  4. 6

    Add Green Mussels

Finally, add the cleaned green mussels to the pot. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the mussels open up.

  5. 7

    Prepare the Sauce

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes). Stir in the remaining Old Bay Seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste. Add lemon juice to enhance the flavor.

  6. 8

    Combine and Serve

Once the seafood is cooked, drain the pot and transfer the seafood to a large serving platter. Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the seafood and toss gently to coat.
