Preparation
- 1
Clean the Seafood
Rinse the black mussels under cold water, scrubbing off any dirt or barnacles. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Snow Crab
If you purchased snow crab clusters that are frozen, thaw them overnight in the refrigerator or place them in a bowl of cold water for about 30 minutes. Once thawed, check if they are clean and ready to cook.
Cooking
- 3
Boil the Seafood
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning to the boiling water. Add the snow crab cluster and cook for about 10 minutes.
- 4
Add Shrimp and Mussels
After 10 minutes, add the shrimp and black mussels to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the mussels open and the shrimp turn pink.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, carefully drain the seafood in a colander. Transfer the seafood to a serving platter.
Finishing Touches
- 6
