Tea Preparation

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you like it.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweetening Process

Add Sweetener
If you prefer sweet tea, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey while the tea is still warm to ensure it dissolves completely. For raspberry sweet tea, add 1 cup of raspberry syrup instead.
Flavoring (Optional)

Add Flavors
For added flavor, stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and toss in 10 fresh mint leaves. Allow to steep for an additional 5 minutes.
Chill and Serve

Cool Down
Let the sweetened tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

Serve the tea over ice, garnished with additional mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.
