Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Hoagie Rolls
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the hoagie rolls lengthwise, taking care not to cut all the way through. Place them on a baking sheet.
- 2
Layer the Meats
Begin by layering the sliced ham evenly across each hoagie roll. Follow this by adding the cotto salami on top of the ham.
- 3
Add the Cheese
Sprinkle or lay the mozzarella cheese over the meats, ensuring even coverage.
- 4
Apply the Mustard
Spoon the Belgian mustard over the cheese layer, adjusting according to your taste preference.
- 5
Bake the Hoagies
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is slightly toasted.
- 6
Serve
Remove the hoagies from the oven, let them cool for a minute, then cut them in half and serve hot.
