Prepare the Salad Base

Wash and Chop
Rinse the Romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Shake off excess water, then chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
Make the Caesar Dressing

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, minced garlic, chopped anchovy fillets, lemon juice, grated Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
Prepare the Croutons

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, toss the cubed bread with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated. Spread the cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.
Assemble the Salad

Combine and Serve
Add the chopped Romaine lettuce to a large bowl. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the top and toss gently to coat the lettuce evenly. Top with toasted croutons and shaved Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
