Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground Sobie Meats beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patty

Preheat your Josper grill. Once hot, place the beef patty on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Caramelized Onions

  1. 3

    Cook the Onions

In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced onions and sugar, and sauté slowly for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.

Toppings

  1. 4

    Add Toppings

During the last minute of cooking the beef patty, place the slice of American cheese on top of the patty to melt. Remove the patty from the grill and set aside.

Bun Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the brioche bun, spread the house-made BBQ jam. Place the grilled beef patty with melted cheese on top, followed by a generous portion of caramelized onions and sliced jalapeños. Top with the other half of the brioche bun.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, typically baking or frying until golden brown and crispy. Season with salt to taste.
