Method
Prepare the Meat Filling
- 1
Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Add Seasoning
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Warm the Tortillas
- 3
Heat Tortillas
Wrap the corn tortillas in aluminum foil and place them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until warm. Alternatively, you can warm them in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
Assemble the Tacos
- 4
Fill the Tortillas
Remove the tortillas from the oven or skillet. Place a generous amount of the meat filling in the center of each tortilla.
- 5
Add Toppings
Top the meat with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and a spoonful of salsa.
- 6
Serve
Fold the tortillas over the filling and serve immediately while they're warm.
