Prepare the Figs
Preheat your grill or oven to a medium heat. Cut the figs in half lengthwise and place them cut side up on a grill-safe tray or baking sheet.

Season the Figs
Drizzle the figs with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Roast the Figs
Place the figs on the grill or in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are soft and slightly caramelized.

Prepare the Prosciutto and Gorgonzola
While the figs are roasting, slice the prosciutto into strips and crumble the gorgonzola cheese.

Assemble the Dish
Once the figs are roasted, remove them from the heat. On each fig half, place a piece of prosciutto and a sprinkle of gorgonzola cheese.
