Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broccolini

Blanch the broccolini in boiling salted water for about 2-3 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp Scampi

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, and let it simmer for 2 minutes until slightly reduced. Stir in chopped parsley and remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Veal Francese

In a shallow dish, beat 2 eggs and season with salt and pepper. Dredge veal cutlets in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then sauté in a separate skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the skillet and keep warm.

  4. 4

    Cook the Tagliatelle

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the handmade tagliatelle according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with a little olive oil to prevent sticking.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Plate the tagliatelle, top with shrimp scampi, and place the veal francese on the side. Arrange the blanched broccolini on the plate and garnish with additional parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately.
