Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This will ensure that the bronzino cooks evenly and develops a nice crispy skin.

2

Prepare the Fish

Rinse the bronzino under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Make three diagonal cuts on each side of the fish to allow for even cooking and flavor absorption.

3

Season the Fish

Drizzle olive oil over the fish, and season the inside and outside with salt and black pepper. Make sure to rub the seasonings into the cuts you made on the sides.

Stuffing the Fish

4

Prepare the Stuffing

In a bowl, combine the lemon slices, chopped parsley, thyme leaves, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to combine.

5

Stuff the Fish

Stuff the cavity of the bronzino with the lemon and herb mixture. Ensure it is packed well, as it will infuse flavor during cooking.

Roasting the Fish

6

Roast the Bronzino

Place the stuffed bronzino on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a roasting pan. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

7

Serve

Remove the bronzino from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional fresh herbs and lemon slices if desired.
