Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Potato Hash

Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sandwich

Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice, buttered side down, in a skillet. Add the cheese slice on top, then cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

  2. 2

    Cook the Sandwich

Cook over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from heat and cut in half.

Potato Hash

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Dice the potatoes and boil them in salted water for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Hash

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell pepper, and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the boiled potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook until crispy.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled cheese sandwich hot alongside the potato hash. Drizzle with maple syrup, and garnish with whipping cream, icing sugar, and fresh fruits.
