Main Ingredients

Method

French Toast Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Custard

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

  2. 2

    Soak the Bread

Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated but not saturated.

  3. 3

    Cook the Toast

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet. Place soaked bread slices in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with remaining bread and butter.

Potato Hash Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until they start to soften.

  2. 5

    Add Vegetables

Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender and potatoes are crispy.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate and Serve

Serve French toast warm with butter, maple syrup, whipping cream, icing sugar, and fresh fruits on the side. Enjoy with potato hash.
