Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat together sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and brewed coffee, mixing until combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  5. 5

    Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.

  6. 6

    Prepare Tres Leches Mixture

In a bowl, combine equal parts of condensed milk, evaporated milk, and whole milk. Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture over it.

  7. 7

    Make the Frosting

In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, whipped cream, and cocoa powder until smooth and fluffy.

  8. 8

    Frost the Cake

Spread the chocolate coffee whipped cream cheese frosting over the soaked cake.

  9. 9

    Serve

Garnish with fresh fruit of your choice and serve chilled.
