Method

Sausages

  1. 1

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Grill the Sausages

Place the Schreiner's Mexican jalapeno sausages on the grill and cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.

Roasted Onions

  1. 3

    Prepare the Onions

Peel and slice the sweet onions into thick rings.

  2. 4

    Roast the Onions

In a bowl, toss the onion rings with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and place in a preheated wood oven or regular oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes until they are caramelized and tender.

Pinto Beans

  1. 5

    Heat the Beans

In a small saucepan, drain and rinse the canned pinto beans. Add them to the saucepan over medium heat.

  2. 6

    Add Garlic and Cilantro

Mince the garlic and add it to the beans. Chop the cilantro and add most of it to the beans, reserving a little for garnish. Squeeze the juice of the lime into the beans and season with salt to taste. Stir and heat through for about 5 minutes.
