Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, shaking off the excess.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are browned and tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the Wine and Broth

Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Combine and Finish

Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  6. 6

    Serve

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy your Chicken Marsala with pasta or mashed potatoes!
