Pork Chop Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well to form a marinade.
- 2
Marinate the Pork Chops
Place the Berkshire pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for better flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Grill or Skillet
If using a grill, preheat it to medium-high heat. If using a skillet, heat it over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- 4
Cook the Pork Chops
Remove the pork chops from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chops on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). If using a skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter halfway through cooking.
- 5
Rest and Serve
Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute. Serve warm, garnished with additional rosemary if desired.
