Method

Burger Preparation

1

Grill the Patties

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the Angus beef patties with salt and pepper. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

2

Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place the Raclette cheese on top of each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.

3

Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns on the grill until golden brown.

4

Assemble the Burger

Spread smoked tomato jam on the bottom half of each bun, place the patty with melted cheese on top, and cover with the top half of the bun.

Frites Preparation

5

Cut the Potatoes

Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips to resemble fries.

6

Fry the Potatoes

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potato strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

Salad Preparation

7

Make the Salad

In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.

Optional Foie Gras Preparation

8

Prepare Foie Gras

Sear the foie gras in a hot skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until golden. Place on top of the assembled burger if desired.
