Meatballs

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.

2

Form the Meatballs

Roll the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.

3

Cook the Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.

4

Prepare the Jalapeño Cream Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

5

Make the Sauce

Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Add the diced jalapeños and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

6

Finish the Sauce

Stir in the cream cheese, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

7

Serve

Serve the meatballs hot with the jalapeño cream sauce drizzled over the top. Focaccia bread can be served on the side.
