Cooking the Beef

Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Seasoning
Once the beef is browned, drain excess fat if necessary. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef and add 1/4 cup of water. Stir to combine and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Chop the Vegetables
While the beef is cooking, wash and chop the romaine lettuce, dice the tomatoes, and chop the red onions.

Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped red onions, and shredded cheese. Toss gently to mix.
Serving

Plate the Salad
Spoon the seasoned ground beef over the salad mixture in the bowl.
