For the Meat Lasagna

Prepare the Meat Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

Cook the Lasagna Noodles
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Assemble the Lasagna
In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce. Place 3 noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture on top, followed by a third of the mozzarella. Repeat the layers, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

Repeat the layers, finishing with sautéed vegetables, remaining ricotta mixture, and topping with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
