Method
Cauliflower Preparation

Prepare Cauliflower
Wash the cauliflower under cold water and remove the leaves. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.

Make Batter
In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and water. Mix until smooth.
Frying

Heat Oil
In a large pot or deep frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully place them into the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Buffalo Sauce (optional)

Coat Cauliflower
Place the fried cauliflower in a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss gently to coat.
General Tso Sauce (optional)

Prepare General Tso Sauce
In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.

Coat Cauliflower
Once the sauce is ready, pour it over the fried cauliflower and toss until evenly coated. Garnish with sesame oil and red pepper flakes, if desired.
