Preparing the Patty

Shape the Patty
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form it into a half-pound patty, approximately 3/4 inch thick.

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place the American cheese slices on top of the patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.
Cooking the Bacon

Prepare the Toast

Toast the Bread
Toast the white bread slices until golden brown using a toaster or on a skillet.
Assemble the Club

Layer the Ingredients
On one slice of toasted bread, spread mayonnaise. Add the lettuce leaves, followed by the beef patty with melted cheese, bacon strips, and slices of tomato.

Complete the Club
Top with another slice of toasted bread, spread with mayonnaise, and repeat the layering process with remaining ingredients. Finish with the last slice of toasted bread on top.
Serve

Cut and Serve
Cut the sandwich into quarters and serve immediately with your choice of side.
