Cooking Pasta

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente.

Drain the Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
Preparing Broccoli

Blanch the Broccoli
In the same pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain and set aside with the pasta.
Making Alfredo Sauce

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add 3 teaspoons of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper.
Grilling Chicken

Season the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

Grill the Chicken
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Combining Everything

Combine Pasta and Sauce
In the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, add the drained pasta and blanched broccoli. Toss everything together until well coated with the sauce.

Serve
Slice the grilled chicken and place on top of the pasta. Serve immediately and enjoy your Broccoli Alfredo with grilled chicken!
