Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. 2

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

Preparing Broccoli

  1. 3

    Blanch the Broccoli

In the same pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain and set aside with the pasta.

Making Alfredo Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sauce

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Add 3 teaspoons of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 5

    Add Cream and Cheese

Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper.

Grilling Chicken

  1. 6

    Season the Chicken

Rub the chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

  2. 7

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Combining Everything

  1. 8

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, add the drained pasta and blanched broccoli. Toss everything together until well coated with the sauce.

  2. 9

    Serve

Slice the grilled chicken and place on top of the pasta. Serve immediately and enjoy your Broccoli Alfredo with grilled chicken!
