Method
Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bacon
In a skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 2
Form the Patties
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- 3
Cook the Patties
Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 4
Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
- 5
Toast the Buns
While the cheese is melting, toast the burger buns in a separate skillet until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burgers
Place the cooked patties with melted cheese on the bottom half of the toasted buns. Top with crispy bacon strips and cover with the top half of the bun.
Fries Preparation
- 7
Prepare the Fries
Heat the cooking oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- 8
Fry the Fries
Add the frozen French fries in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 9
Season the Fries
Sprinkle with salt while hot and toss to coat evenly.
