Cooking the Salmon

Season the Salmon
Generously coat each salmon fillet with blackening seasoning on all sides.

Cook the Salmon
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a blackened crust. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the salmon is cooking, chop the cherry tomatoes in half, slice the red onion thinly, and dice the cucumber.

Assemble the Salad
In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, black olives, and cucumber. Toss gently to mix.
Making the Dressing

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Serving

Plate the Salad
Divide the mixed greens salad onto plates. Top each salad with the blackened salmon fillet.

Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette dressing over the top of the salads and serve immediately.
