Pasta

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Cooking Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the zucchini, bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, carrot, and asparagus. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining

  1. 3

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the reserved pasta water gradually, mixing until the pasta is well-coated with the olive oil and the vegetables are evenly distributed.

  2. 4

    Season and Serve

Season with black pepper and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil. Toss everything together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or pepper as desired. Serve immediately.
