Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and trim the green beans, cutting off the ends. Mince the garlic and ginger finely. Slice the pork tenderloin thinly against the grain.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sauté the Pork

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced pork tenderloin and season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the pork is browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 3

    Cook the Aromatics

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.

  3. 4

    Add Green Beans

Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet with the garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the green beans are bright green and slightly tender, but still crisp.

  4. 5

    Combine with Sauce

Return the sautéed pork to the skillet. Add the black bean sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine everything and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

  5. 6

    Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or black pepper as needed. Serve hot as a side dish or main course.
