Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips, about 1-inch wide.

  2. 2

    Prepare Vegetables

Slice the mushrooms, trim the snow peas, and slice the bamboo shoots. Mince the garlic and chop the green onions.

Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix Sauce

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and chicken broth. Stir until cornstarch is dissolved. Set aside.

Stir-Fry

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large wok or skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Cook Chicken

Add the chicken strips to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Add Garlic and Vegetables

Add minced garlic, mushrooms, snow peas, and bamboo shoots to the wok. Stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  4. 7

    Add Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  5. 8

    Finish and Serve

Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and serve hot over rice or noodles.
