Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Lamb

Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

2

Add Spices

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and green chili. Sauté for a couple of minutes until the raw smell disappears.

3

Cook the Lamb

Add the cubed lamb to the pot and brown it on all sides. Once browned, add the pureed tomatoes and salt. Cook until the lamb is tender, about 25-30 minutes, adding water as needed.

4

Incorporate Spinach and Yogurt

Stir in the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Lower the heat and mix in the whisked yogurt. Cook for another 5 minutes.

5

Finish with Garam Masala

Sprinkle garam masala over the dish and mix well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

6

Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot with rice or naan.
