Cooking Instructions

1

Marinate the Lamb

In a bowl, combine the lamb pieces, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.

2

Cook the Onions

In a large pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

3

Add the Lamb

Add the marinated lamb to the pan. Cook on medium-high heat until the lamb is browned on all sides.

4

Add Tomatoes

Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, until the oil begins to separate from the mixture.

5

Simmer the Dish

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the lamb is tender. Stir occasionally and add water if necessary to prevent sticking.

6

Finish with Garam Masala

Once the lamb is tender, sprinkle the garam masala and chopped coriander leaves on top. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

7

Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot with naan or rice.
