Directions
- 1
Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Prepare the Skillet
Place your pie crust in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet, pressing it against the bottom and sides. Trim any excess crust hanging over the edges.

Mix the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, bourbon, and salt until well combined.
- 4
Add Pecans
Stir in the pecan halves into the filling mixture.
- 5
Fill the Crust
Pour the pecan filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- 6
Bake the Pie
Bake in the preheated oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
- 7
Cool and Serve
Allow the pie to cool for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
