    Prepare the Marinade

    In a large bowl, combine the ancho chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the olive oil and mix well to form a marinade.

    Marinate the Wings

    Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

    Preheat the Grill

    Prepare a wood-fired grill or charcoal grill for high heat. Make sure the grill is properly preheated.
