Method

Prepare the Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Tortellini

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the ricotta cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce

  1. 2

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped green onions and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 3

    Add Fruits

Add the diced pineapple, sliced bananas, and halved grapes to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the fruits begin to soften.

  3. 4

    Deglaze with Wine

Pour in the white wine and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes until the wine reduces slightly.

  4. 5

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Allow the sauce to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until it thickens slightly.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Combine Tortellini with Sauce

Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet and gently toss to coat the pasta with the sauce and fruits.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving. Enjoy your unique Tortellini Jamaica Mon!
