Cook the Pasta

Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Vegetables

Chop the Vegetables
While the pasta is cooking, chop the red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, zucchini, and red onion into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and minced garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Make the Cream Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In the skillet with the sautéed vegetables, reduce the heat to low. Add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Combine and Serve

Mix Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pasta into the skillet with the cream sauce and vegetables. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.

Garnish and Serve
Remove from heat, stir in the fresh basil, and serve hot. Enjoy your Rasta Pasta!
