Garlic Bread Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a medium bowl, soften the unsalted butter and mix in minced garlic (from 6 cloves), chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 3

    Slice the Bread

Cut the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and then into 6 equal pieces.

  4. 4

    Spread the Garlic Butter

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly across the cut sides of the bread pieces.

  5. 5

    Bake the Bread

Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Dipping Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes.

  2. 7

    Season the Sauce

Add salt and black pepper to taste, adjusting for preference.

  3. 8

    Serve

Transfer the dipping sauce to a serving bowl and serve it alongside the hot garlic bread.
