Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Start by cutting the chicken breast into strips or tenders, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Stations

In three separate shallow bowls, set up your breading stations: fill the first bowl with all-purpose flour, the second bowl with beaten eggs, and the third bowl with breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. 3

    Coat the Chicken

Take each chicken strip and dip it first into the flour, ensuring it’s fully coated. Shake off any excess flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere the crumbs.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. You’ll need enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet, about 1/4 inch deep.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken Tenders

Once the oil is hot (you can test it by dropping a small piece of bread into the oil; it should sizzle), carefully add the coated chicken strips to the skillet. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

  6. 6

    Cook Until Golden Brown

Fry the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  7. 7

    Drain and Serve

Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
