Cooking Instructions
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, minced garlic, and black pepper. Add the sliced beef and mix well. Allow marinating for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Rice
While the beef marinates, rinse the white rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook according to package instructions.
Stir-Fry the Beef
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cook the Broccoli and Onions
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add sliced onion and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Then add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine and Serve
Return the beef to the skillet, toss everything together, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Serve over the steamed white rice.
