Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Balsamic Figs

In a small saucepan, combine the fresh figs and balsamic vinegar. Cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, until the figs are warmed through and the balsamic has thickened slightly. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Blister the Grape Tomatoes

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the grape tomatoes and cook for about 3-5 minutes, until they are blistered and slightly charred. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Crispy Prosciutto

In the same skillet, add the prosciutto slices and cook until crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Tartine

Slice the baguette or rustic bread into 1-inch thick slices. Toast the slices until golden brown. Spread burrata cheese generously on each slice. Top with warm balsamic figs, blistered grape tomatoes, and crispy prosciutto.

  5. 5

    Serve

Drizzle with a little more balsamic vinegar if desired, and serve immediately.
