Fried Crab Claws Ingredients

Method

Fried Crab Claws Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Coating

In a bowl, mix together all-purpose flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wet Mix

In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until well combined.

  3. 3

    Coat the Crab Claws

Dip each crab claw into the wet mixture, then dredge in the dry coating mix until fully coated.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Crab Claws

Carefully place the coated crab claws into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. 6

    Drain and Serve

Remove the crab claws from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
