Tuna Melt Directions
- 1
Prepare the Tuna Salad
In a medium bowl, mix the canned tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, sweet pickle relish, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2
Assemble the Sandwich
Take two slices of bread and spread some of the tuna salad mixture on each slice. Top one slice with sliced tomatoes and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Place the other slice of bread on top to form a sandwich.

Toast the Sandwich
In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip the sandwich, add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet, and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.

Serve
Remove the sandwich from the skillet, cut in half, and serve warm. Enjoy your delicious Tuna Melt!
