Directions

1

Prepare the Seafood

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the octopus and cook for about 30 minutes or until tender. Remove from water and let cool. Once cooled, chop the octopus into bite-sized pieces. In the same pot, boil the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Drain and let cool, then chop the shrimp into bite-sized pieces.

2

Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped octopus, shrimp, diced avocado, diced tomato, chopped onion, and cilantro.

3

Dress the Salad

Drizzle the lime juice and olive oil over the mixture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Gently toss to combine all ingredients without mashing the avocado.

4

Serve

Serve immediately in a bowl, or refrigerate for an hour for a cold option. Enjoy your Campechana!
