Burrito Preparation

1. Prepare the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, ground beef, chorizo, or shredded beef (picadillo) with refried beans. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well.

2. Assemble the Burrito

Lay a large flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spoon the filling mixture into the center of the tortilla, leaving enough space on the sides to fold it in. Top with shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, salsa, chopped cilantro, and avocado slices.

3. Roll the Burrito

Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll it from the bottom up to enclose the filling tightly. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

4. Serve

Serve the burritos warm, garnished with lime wedges on the side.
