Slice the Plantains
Peel the ripe plantains and slice them diagonally into 1-inch thick pieces.

Prepare the Peppers
Remove the stems and seeds from the Fresno and jalapeno peppers. Slice them thinly.

Caramelize the Plantains
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced plantains and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Make the Sauce
Once the plantains are caramelized, sprinkle the brown sugar over them and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Add the Peppers
Add the sliced Fresno and jalapeno peppers to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peppers are slightly softened but still vibrant.
