Method

Preparation of Potato-Bacon Terrine

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and slice the potatoes thinly. Boil in salted water until tender, then drain and let cool.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and chop into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine the boiled potatoes, chopped bacon, heavy cream, butter, eggs, salt, pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Terrine

Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Layer half of the potato mixture in the pan, add half of the bacon, then repeat. Press down firmly.

  5. 5

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the terrine for about 45 minutes or until set. Allow to cool before slicing.
